I am sorry you are dealing with this, Carrie, but glad it is somewhat helpful to read the article. So I thought it was my high hamstring bothering me but it was my OI. It was a symptom of the overall hip joint being aggravated from my labral tear. Scaling back on running, doing PT, and loading the OI helped it stop being cranky!

Not a ton of literature online about OI, except articles about athletes injuring it in kicking sports.
I’m curious, did your actual OI ever hurt, or was it *just* the other issues that it surfaced through? I’m dealing with a very cranky OI;
working with a PF PT and a regular PT. I’ve been off running for a month now, and it hasn’t gotten much better at all. I tried the Lever on my treadmill at home, hoping that might allow me to jog, but I couldn’t even walk. This article helps me know which additional questions to ask.

Hi Stephen! So sorry for the delay! This system wasn’t working so I missed all these notes! I think it is probably best for you o see a PT to help with your pain and ask about the OI. The exercises won’t hurt but they may not target your issue specifically. best of luck to you!
